Day 2 — Mughal Gardens & Old Srinagar Heritage

Spend a full day exploring Srinagar's 400-year-old Mughal legacy. Your private guide and vehicle take you through Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi — three terraced garden masterpieces overlooking Dal Lake, each built by a different Mughal emperor.

After lunch, visit the Hazratbal Shrine on the northwestern shore of Dal Lake, and wind through the lanes of old Srinagar — papier-mâché workshops, pashmina weavers, and walnut wood craftsmen still practising their 700-year-old craft.

Day 3 — Gulmarg: Asia's Highest Gondola

After an early breakfast, your private vehicle departs for Gulmarg (56 km, ~90 mins). Set at 8,700 ft, the Meadow of Flowers is one of the world's premier high-altitude destinations, surrounded by a ring of 14,000 ft peaks.

Your Gondola tickets are pre-booked — no queuing. Phase 1 rises to Kongdoori (10,500 ft); Phase 2 climbs to Apharwat Ridge (13,400 ft) — a panorama of the Himalayan range that stretches far beyond on clear days. In winter, this becomes India's best ski terrain. In summer, the meadows bloom with wildflowers.

Return to Srinagar by evening. Dinner by the lake at your leisure.

Day 4 — Pahalgam: Valley of Shepherds

Check out after breakfast and drive southeast to Pahalgam (95 km, ~2.5 hrs). Set at 7,200 ft along the Lidder River, "the Valley of Shepherds" is where Kashmir slows down to its most unhurried and cinematic.

Visit Betaab Valley — a dense pine-and-meadow corridor named after the 1983 Bollywood film shot here. Continue to Aru Valley, a quieter tributary valley that serves as the base for Kolahoi Glacier treks and offers some of Kashmir's finest slow-travel walking.

Evening: Stroll along the Lidder River promenade as the mountains reflect in the water.

Overnight: Premium Resort, Pahalgam

Day 5 — Leisure Day in Pahalgam

Today belongs entirely to you. Pahalgam's pace is its own attraction — waking up to the sound of the Lidder, mist-wrapped pine forests, and mountains that feel close enough to touch from your resort balcony.

Optional additions available on request: white-water rafting on the Lidder River, pony rides into the high meadows above Baisaran, or a nature walk with your guide through forests of silver fir toward Tulian Lake. For those who prefer total stillness — the resort spa, a book, and a river-facing terrace are equally valid choices.

Day 6 — Departure from Srinagar

Check out from your Pahalgam resort after a relaxed breakfast. Your private vehicle transfers you back to Srinagar Airport (approx. 2.5 hrs), timed to your departure flight.

For late-morning flights, we arrange an optional final visit to Pari Mahal — a 17th-century Sufi school and terraced garden on the Zabarwan hillside with sweeping views of Dal Lake — or a quiet second Shikara loop before the airport.

Tour concludes at Srinagar Airport. Safe onward travels.
